When you think of a charity song, you think of a heartfelt, kid-friendly song with somewhat sad inspiration, right? In Lil' Dicky's case, wrong! For about a week until it's release on April 19th, Lil Dicky along with an impressive cast of stars, teased the song and video "Earth," and nobody was expecting the final result. The song features stars like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Halsey, Adam Levine, SZA, and Snoop Dogg just to name a few, and each of them portray an animated animal. This sounds like a cute children's music video, but that is also far from the truth. The video is laced with adult humor and some not-so-kid-friendly lyrics but is very amusing to teenage and adult audiences. The song is about how great the Earth is and why we need to take action against climate change. All the proceeds from streaming and purchases go to Leonardo Dicaprio's foundation against climate change and extinction of endangered species'.

This song has a significant impact on the music industry. Charity songs have been done before and are not that uncommon, but Lil' Dicky reimagined what exactly a charity song can be.
